During my time developing with .NET MAUI, I’ve faced challenges in accessing resources. This includes everything from libraries for development, problem-solving, enhancing knowledge about the framework’s general aspects, best practices, and more.
Furthermore, there’s a need to stay constantly updated on all these aspects.
To address this, I’ve compiled a list of resources that I believe will be valuable for developers in 2024.
Guides and Tutorials
A critical first step is the Microsoft documentation for .NET MAUI:

Kits and Libraries
Essential libraries for development include:
- .NET MAUI Community Toolkit: Offers animations, behaviors, converters, and effects. GitHub — Maui Community Toolkit
- SkiaSharp for Maui: A 2D graphics library for drawing shapes, text, and working with images. GitHub — SkiaSharp
- Sharpnado Tabs: I’ve used this recently for complete customization of tabs. GitHub — Sharpnado.Tabs
- AcrylicView: Allows for cool effects on panels. GitHub — AcrylicView.MAUI
- MauiMTAdmob: Useful for including ads in your apps. MauiMTAdmob
- Sentry: While there are other error-capturing libraries, I generally use Sentry, which offers a free tier that works quite well. Sentry for .NET MAUI
For those interested in premium libraries, here are some references:
- DevExpress: Provides a variety of customizable controls. DevExpress for MAUI
